Chris Wax

Chris Wax is a Principal Technical Leader in the Advanced Nuclear Technology program. His research activities focuses on Reliability and Integrity Management programs for assets in advanced nuclear reactors, often referred to as RIM. Chris is active in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Section XI Code Committees through participation on the Task Group High Strength Nickel Alloy Issues, the Subgroup Water-Cooled Systems, and the Working Group on Inspection of Systems and Components. Previously, Chris held multiple roles at the Palo Verde Generating Station Chris was the Chairman of the Pressurized Water Reactor Materials Committee from 2017–2019 where he provided direction to materials-related projects to support industry needs. In 2012, Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University.
