Marc Albert

Marc Albert is a Principal Team Leader in the Advanced Nuclear Technology program. Marc manages and overseas research related to Advanced Manufacturing and Materials within the nuclear industry. This research includes (1) determining the optimal methods (including advanced manufacturing methods) for fabrication (2) identifying and developing new applications of materials, and (3) identifying and developing new or improved methods for joining, inspecting and maintaining piping and components. Prior to joining EPRI, Marc was a Design Engineer with Westinghouse Electric Company, where he served in various design roles on the AP1000® pressurized water reactor including ASME equipment design, fabrication and on-site design support for the V.C. Summer construction project. Marc received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2018 he earned his professional engineer license and is currently licensed in South Carolina.
